For those not in the know, yesterday was National Listen to Taylor Swift Day (according to my Facebook events list.) Don’t worry, if you missed it you can still listen to her today. And tomorrow. And every day after that. Except for July 14. That is Jay Brannan day. And our beautiful thug Miss Swift picked up two CMT Music Awards last night -- one for Best Video and a second for Best Female Video. Go Taylor!Â

Haven’t posted anything on the music end of things today and for some reason I woke up from my nap with this song in my head!
I just got the Facebook notice that Jay Brannan is coming to Schuba’s. I love his songs and let’s face it -- he is pretty easy on the eyes -- so I didn’t hesitate a moment in buying a ticket. In honor of his coming show I present to you one of my favorite songs by Brannan, Lower My Gun.
